SMB Atlas.
About

A publication, not a product.

SMB Atlas is long-form writing on founders, operators, and the messy middle of running a company. Edited like a magazine, paced like a book.

Most small-business content is either a sales funnel dressed as advice, or a listicle written by someone who has never made payroll. SMB Atlas is neither. It’s a publication built to be read, not to convert.

The atlas maps the journey from before-the-idea to owner-replaceable: a prologue and ten milestones. Each one is informed by the operators, books, and conversations that shaped the path. The writing is original. The perspective is opinionated. The goal is to be the most useful thing a small-business operator reads this year.

SMB Atlas is created by Michael Rangel, a founder, operator, and builder who has lived most of these milestones firsthand. The atlas is the guide he wished existed when he started.
